Congratulations to the newly weds! It was so much fun to have Dave and Stacey on the boat for a 7 day/6 night charter. After two days of chest high surf at Ollie's Point and Witch's Rock, we headed north to Nicaragua. A massive swell hit just after we arrived San Juan Del Sur. Panga Drops was double overhead, Colorado's was macking and even broke at low tide. The waves were so big, Rafa broke is board dropping in!. The direction wasn't exactly right for Manzanillo's but the lefts were head high and clean. Additionally, we surfed Playa Hermosa and Maderas. The fun didn't stop at surfing, we enjoyed two nights out on the town in beautiful San Juan Del Sur. In transit, we managed to be quite successful in fishing. We caught two Dorado, two Black Tune, Rainbow fish, Spanish Mackeral and a Needlefish...nothing like fresh filets and ceviche! Overall, the trip was a tremendous success and we hope to see Dave and Stacey for their next surf vacation.
