September 10-11

Rich and his buddies from Miami did their homework. They found super cheap last minute flights, paired it with low morning tides, and a solid incoming swell. The result? Epic waves and killer surf trip! This is the only picture we could find because the waves were so good that nobody wanted to sit on the beach...everyone was in the water the entire time! We hit the water at 5am at Ollie's Point to perfectly catch the low tide just as it started to rise. Head high sets with perfect shape, it was endless rides for everyone. As the tide reached mid level, we headed over to Witch's Rock to surf the higher tide. All day long, the waves continued to roll through with perfect A-frames. Pick the left or the right, your choice! As the tide started to drop, we cruised back to Ollie's Point for another sunset session. How many hours can you surf in 2 days?!?! I know the boys has a great time and will be back; on the way home they asked if we just turn the boat around and do it again! Next time, someone has to take some photos of those waves at Ollie's Point!
